Blue Rose Ranch was honored to be recognized as a National Finalist and Award Winner in the ASPCA Help a Horse Day competition. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals hosts an annual competition for horse rescue organizations. The event was held this year in April and there were 187 competing horse rescue organizations from around the country. Blue Rose Ranch was one of the 11 finalists and received a cash prize award of $5,000 to support our ongoing efforts to protect horses.
Blue Rose Ranch would like to thank the many volunteers and hundreds of people who attended the events and activities that were held to celebrate Help a Horse Day. To compete with organizations from Philadelphia, Washington D. C., Boston, Miami, New York and the like, who had Congressmen, Mayors and even Governors as part of their celebration activities; we are truly humbled and gratified that we were able to host a world-class event that brings a national spotlight to horse rescue and to our organization.
