Midnight is big and incredibly strong. He is named for his silky, jet black coat. Midnight is truly loved because for so many people, their very first horse experience was with Midnight. He is truly special, and seems to understand when someone is scared or unhappy. People who were afraid of horses learned they could enjoy horses because of his gentle nature. He will stand very still and patiently teach new riders how to balance and how to trust a horse. He loves attention and loves to be brushed. And people just feel happy being around Midnight.

Midnight	Birthday: Probably born in 1995. We celebrate on May 5th   Height: 15 hands   Weight: 1300 lbs   Color: Black with a white strip on his face and a white muzzle   Job: Midnight is our teaching horse for beginning riders.   Favorite Food: Grain   Special Feature: Midnight knows how to work cattle. He isn't intimidated by cows or bulls at all! If Midnight were a person, he would be the one you could trust the most.

Midnight was owned by a family who could no longer care for him. They asked if Blue Rose Ranch would take him and give him a new home. People are drawn to Midnight because he, like many people, has had to overcome a limitation. He has a dust allergy that makes it a little harder for him to breathe sometimes, especially if he has do a lot of running. But Midnight keeps trying to please anyway, and never quits. He is a great horse with a big heart!
