Moonwalker was severely neglected and barely alive the day we met him. He was so thin that we had to pick him up and put him on the horse trailer. It seems the horse angels decided to watch over him and help him live. Moonwalker was very brave. It took many months before he was out of danger. His story is the essence of the cause of Blue Rose Ranch. Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate horses. Moonwalker today is strong and healthy, and a favorite of all who visit.

Moonwalker	Birthday: June 2009. We celebrate June 10th   Height: 14 hands - But he is still growing!   Weight: 1000 lbs   Color: Champagne Palomino   Job: Keeping the other horses playing! He is just starting his training to be ridden.    Favorite Food: Alfalfa   Special Feature: He is best friends with Biscuit. And, he likes to be kissed on the nose. If Moonwalker were a person, he would be your best friend.

Moonwalker is a handsome Tennessee Walker, with a unique Champagne coloring. People are drawn to Moonwalker, and love being around him. He is incredibly sweet, and will always stop to say hello and get a pet, even when heading to dinner. Moonwalker also loves horse play! He will move from one horse to the next at Blue Rose Ranch, trying to start a game. It is hard to believe he is the same colt who came to Blue Rose Ranch in 2009.
